Most Disliked
Some guests express concerns about wait times during peak hours, particularly on Fridays when the restaurant hits full capacity. A few diners report that certain menu items occasionally sell out during busy shifts. While the cozy environment is generally appreciated, some visitors mention that during peak times, it can feel a bit cramped, especially for larger groups. The ambience can also get a little noisy on weekends, which might detract from the dining experience for those seeking a quieter meal.
Occasional service hiccups are referenced as staff might get overwhelmed during busy periods. While the majority of staff is praised for their friendliness, there are some comments about inconsistency in service on particularly hectic nights.

Phenomenal Fish & Chips and Passionate Service! My husband and I were blown away by our experience. The level of passion and care they put into their food truly shines through; the flavors were amazing across the board. I can confidently say I had the best fish and chips of my life here and I've had a lot! The fish was perfectly cooked, and the tartar sauce was incredible; it tasted distinctly homemade and elevated the dish entirely. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Scotch Eggs and the fried clams. We saved room for dessert the Sticky Toffee Pudding is highly recommended! A huge shout-out to our waiter, Frankie, whose excellent customer service and suggestions made the evening even better. We will absolutely be returning and recommending this restaurant to everyone.

I was craving some fish and chips and wanted to try this place for the first time. They have take out or dine in and do you want dine in then you seat yourself and pick any table you like then our server Tyler came over he explained he was in training and he did a good job checking on us and the food came out quick. Got the cod fish and chips and it was hot and delicious! I like the decor inside because the theming made it feel like I was back in London again and they have a little section to buy British snacks and merch. Definitely recommend this spot if you are ever in Clermont area!

I came here for lunch with the family. I had the fish and chips, my daughter had the beans on toast. They have a great selection of english food/drink and cakes. The server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I am from England originally and I have been in America for 10 years. It was great seeing the English food again.

I highly recommend Clermont Fish House. My family and I were recommended by a family friend and I agree, the Fish House is on point with their customer service! Anne was professional, friendly and really appreciated my business. My family and I ordered the Flounder Dinner, Grilled Mahi Dinner, Shrimp Tacos, Fried Pickles and Fried Pineapples!! Everything was DELICIOUS!!! We will be repeat customers! This is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. Thanks Anne! See you next time!

The most authentic Fish and Chips experience ever! We felt as if we were in England, the taste is exactly the same, staff attended us even though we arrived just before closing. Will definitely return on a future trip!

I have been passing by The Clermont Fish House for years always wondering about trying it. A family member had been feeling the same way and suggested it for dinner and it was a fantastic suggestion. The restaurant itself is quaint, quiet, and welcoming to all patrons. The menu is simple but has options for all palettes, it includes seafood, chicken, beef, and a few vegetarian options as well. I personally ordered the Beef and Onion Pie with sweet potato chips (fries), and a few hushpuppies on the side. Everything tasted fresh and had an authentic feel and excellent flavor. Everyone in the restaurant was very nice and all pitched in to ensure we had a great experience. I would also reccomend the Bannoffee Pie for a sweet treat after your main course! I would love to visit again and try a new dish!

If you want great British foods, attentive service and bar games then this is the place. Don't skip the banana cheesecake dish. They have a excellent selection of fish and chips, meat pies and traditional sides. My daughter says the beans on toast is 1000/10. Definitely give them a try.
